If you want breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a cool beverage, Café Canela is strategically located on the Cabo San Lucas marina, just behind the Tesoro Hotel. This Mexican bistro café serves both American-style breakfast, as well as traditional Mexican breakfasts, such as Chilaquiles, a dish of sautéed tortillas chips with red or green sauce, and made even better when you order it with eggs or meat on top. Healthy choices include fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, and honey. Fresh bagels, French toast. waffles and pancakes are also served. Plenty of sides, from cottage cheese to chips, are also available. The selection of hot or cold coffees complements any meal. Breakfast items will cost you between $3.50 US for a fresh fruit plate, to $9.00 US for café specials and combo meals. Lunch and dinner at Café Canela span a wide range of menu choices, from sandwiches, burgers, wraps and salads ($5.25 to $11.50 US), to a few pasta dishes, seafood, specials of the Mexican bistro, and Canela combos ($7.50 US for a chili relleno to $27.50 US for the Los Cabos Combo of shrimp, arrachera, and fish grilled Cajun style.) Whole grilled lobster, prepared just like in Rosarito, is $40.00 US per pound.
