A GREAT DAY for catching YELLOWFIN TUNA in the waters off Cabo. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The John Droste party from Portland, TX have an EXCELLENT day. They catch sixteen YELLOWFIN TUNA ( 15 - 20 - 25 lbs. ). and three 25 lb. DORADOS. Fishing on the EL BUDSTER II. The Craig & Sherry Conway party catch eight DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ).All the fish were caught 12 - 14 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. John Huff from Colorado Springs, CO catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was caught on a live Caballito. The fighting time was 35 minutes. His party also catches five DORADOS. On the EL BUDSTER II . Bob Bishel from Novato, CA catches a 450 lb. BLUE MARLIN. It was caught on a Black Bart Lure ( Blue / White ). The fighting time was two hours. Way to go Bob. Nice job. Now that is a BIG MARLIN. All the fish were caught 16 to 18 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Peter Berry party from West Vancouver, BC, Canada catches five DORADOS ( 20 to 25 lbs. ). On the EL BUDSTER II. The Tomas Duran party from Pueblo, CO has an EXCELLENT day. They catch and release three STRIPED MARLIN ( 80 - 80 - 120 lbs. ). All three were caught on live Caballitos. The fighting times were 35 - 35 - 45 minutes. They also catch and release a 300 lb. BLUE MARLIN. The fighting time on this bad boy was 1 hr. & 20 minutes. Nice going. Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Larry Loveland catches & releases a 80 lb. SAILFISH. It was caught on a live Caballito and the fighting time was 25 minutes. His party also catches four DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ). On the EL BUDSTER II. The Roger Daniels party from Las Vegas, NV catches and releases six ROOSTERFISH ( 15 - 25 lbs. ). Fishing on their sixth and final day on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Gary and Dave Vanden Heuvel catch seven DORADOS ( 15 - 20 - 25 lbs. ). Back on the EL BUDSTER II. The Yancy Nichol party catches three DORADOS ( 15 - 20 - 25 lbs. ). They go looking for YELLOWFIN TUNA. But have no success finding them. All the DORADOS were caught 16 - 18 miles out from Cabo. Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Gary & Dave Vanden Heuvel combine to catch five DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ). They also catch and release a 20 lb. ROOSTERFISH. Back on the EL BUDSTER II. Yancy Nichol from Glenwood Springs, CO catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Caballito. The fighting time was 45 minutes. His party also catches three YELLOWFIN TUNA ( 15 - 40 - 80 lbs. ) and a 30 lb. DORADO. All the fish were caught 16 - 18 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. |

Another very good day of fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Gary and Dave Vanden Heuvel combine ro catch seven DORADOS ( 15 - 20 - 25 lbs. ). They keep four and release three. They also catch and release a 20 lb. ROOSTERFISH. On the EL BUDSTER II. Greg Malik from Atascadero, CA catches and releases a 110 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Caballito. The fighting time is 40 minutes. His party also catches three DORADOS ( 15 - 20 lbs. ). All the fish were caught 12 - 14 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. |

Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER for their third day of fishing. Gary & Dave Vanden Heuvel have a fine day. They catch seven DORADOS ( 15 - 20 lbs.). They keep four and release three. They release two 25 lb. ROOSTERFISH and catch a 25 lb. YELLOWFIN TUNA. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Yancy Nichol party catches seven DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ). All the fish were caught about four miles out on the Cabo Lighthouse Reef. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. |
