The main Catholic Church in Cabo San Lucas

This is the most widely attended church in the area. It was constructed in 1730, and has been under renovation for some time. While the structure is rather simple, it is a tribute to the local history because little has changed in its appearance since the original construction. There is no air conditioning, only ceiling fans for cooling. It can be quite warm in the summer.
The Santuario de Guadalupe is also known as the Iglesia Católica de San Lucas. It was built back in 1730. The Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe is celebrated on December 12th with masses, fairs, parades, fireworks, etc.
If you want to get an excellent sense of the local culture, you might take time to visit here and mingle with the parishioners.

Sundays at 10:30 am, 12:00 noon, and 8:00 pm.
Bi-lingual services Saturdays at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 12:00 noon.
