Luxury shopping in any tourist destination is an added value for its visitors and in many cases is used as a sales tool by travel agents. As was demonstrated in a recent poll conducted by the Orbitz Group of travel agencies; its study showed that almost three quarters of travelers consider opportunities for shopping to be an important factor when planning their vacations. Forty-five percent admitted they intended to leave space in their baggage in order to accommodate the purchases they made while traveling and 51 percent considered fashionable shopping locations when planning their trip.
