7 Seas Seafood Grille - Restaurant Review
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this Cabo Surf Hotel restaurant is bustling. Chef Alejandro Rodriguez Ponce excels at creating sublime Mediterranean-inspired cuisine that relies on fresh, local organic ingredients. One of the most popular starters on the menu is the tuna tartar trilogy. Enjoy three unique versions of freshly prepared tuna: pistachio and avocado, mango and chile, and a cucumber-cilantro blend. Another favorite is the blue crab tostadas, which are made with Mexican salsa, avocado, and a jalapeno dressing. You won’t be disappointed with the fresh fish of the day or the baked Maui ribs, which are marinated in a special Argentine pineapple barbecue sauce, slow-cooked for four days, and served with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and a melody of vegetables. Shrimp ravioli are stuffed with a Mexican-style ricotta cheese and prepared in an herbed butter sauce. Shrimp linguini pops with Gorgonzola and spinach. These dishes are best paired with a glass from 7 Seas’ carefully selected wine list, which features selections from California, México, Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. Discover, MasterCard, and Visa accepted. $$–$$$ L.G.
