Passaparola Italian Bistro
San José del Cabo, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Maurizio Follis is not only the owner of Passaparorla Italian Bistro, but also acts as the head Chef. The Italian-born business man thrives on providing Los Cabos with authentic Italian cuisines. He has worked all over the world, enhancing his phenomenal cooking style and favor. Every meal at Passaparola is made to perfection to ensure repeat business. The dining area is kept small to create a truly intimate environment.

The romantic ambiance is enhanced by candle lit tables and soft background music. Intriguing paintings and artwork accent the warm and inviting atmosphere. Some of the impressive artwork was donated by a local artist who often frequents the restaurant. Follis even added his own special flare to his restaurant with his attractive hand made sculpture featuring beautiful tiny lights.  The restaurant also offers a full bar with a great wine selection to pair with the fine Italian dishes.  Patrons are welcome to bring their own wine with a 130 peso corking fee.

Passaparola meaning “spread the word,” knows how to keep their loyal fan base.

Every meal is made from scratch with only the freshest of ingredients including chopped tomatoes, peppers, garlic, cheese, and onions. This intimate cooking process may take a bit longer than usually, but the end result is definitely worth the wait.  All pizzas are made southern Italy style, always thin crusted.  A portion of the restaurant is dedicated to an open-air pizza kitchen, showcasing Passaparola’s dedication to crafting a truly individual pizza. Salads are prepared with organic greens and topped with shrimp, chicken, salmon, or tuna. The large pasta menu features spaghetti, penne, ravioli, and lasagna plates. Fresh tuna and salmon dishes are also extremely popular cuisines. Every meal is made with great care using only “the finest ingredients for [their] recipes.”  After dinner, indulge in one of their divine desserts such as the rich Tiramisu and Cheesecake. These sinfully delicious treats go great with one of their frothy cappuccinos or espressos.

Passaparola also offers the convenient option to call in orders for pick up. Passaparola is open 1pm-10pm Thursday-Sunday. Cash Only
